Really, I wouldn't have it any other way... I can't visit a big City without feeling absolutely disgusted
I totally agree, we have Durham and Newcastle 20 or so miles up the road and i hate the places.. i don't like crowds anyway, i'd rather take a 50 mile detour that try and drive through a city center lol

Yeah, that was my feeling too... which is a major reason why I moved into the center of our nation's capitol. Counter intuitive, I know, but I wanted the experience of the big city lifestyle before retiring quietly away into some cold center of nowhere. So, I'm enjoying my time here in DC for the time being, but I must admit... I look forward to moving back out.
I think the biggest factor that makes the city lifestyle tolerable is public transportation. I commute to work on the subway every day, which isn't too bad! While I have a car, I generally go out of my way not to use it because it's just such a hassle to commute anywhere. :P

Hehe... you just need to ignore the techie threads. We're first and foremost a group of folks from around the world who all like making games and partaking in friendly conversation. :)
