sorry... but no. I never built full-screen into Lassie Director. it wasn't worth the $100 to me to buy the director plug-in to do so, then I abandoned Lassie Director in favor of building Lassie AS.

Did anyone ...
Hi there! I just got this message: "PC GAMER, November 2007 edition describes the game as a "gentle, humorous game with a smashing ambient-swish of a soundtrack." Could anyone check that? Unfortunately I can't get my hands on PC Gamer here ... Maybe someone of you owns that issue and might be able to look it up or even scan that part? :) please

SeanCyrusTowel- 10-12-2007

yeah, I'll keep an eye out for it Matt

Matt Kempke- 10-13-2007

Thanks Wes! mh, somehow i doubt it's the november edition ... since it's october. maybe september or october? ...

SeanCyrusTowel- 10-13-2007

No, they do release the November edition of magazines part way into October. It's kinda like new cars.... the 2008's are already out

Matt Kempke- 10-14-2007

... and now the mystery of the november issue has been solved. :o Sorry - had been watching too much Poirot...

I got this today: "Thanks so much for the game, it was featured in PC Gamer UK, and being an adventure fan with a system that prefers non-demanding games, this was just what I was looking for! Not that I want to spoil anything for anyone, but I can't wait for you to continue the story, it's pretty darn gripping! I enjoyed your wonderful little references to the Giants of the Genre, and your illustration is also superb, it's hard to fault your excellent work." well well :) Besides that this is exactly what anyone would want to hear ... It seems that the mentioning of WMYT was in PC Gamer UK... Someone from the UK here to look it up? Please?

bigmac- 10-16-2007

It's probably the same as the US PC Gamer article. I went to a book store to look up the article last night but the store was shut down due to "technical difficulties". They said that they'll be reopening today, so I'm going to swing through downtown and try again on my walk home tonight. We WILL bring this article to light! Sounds like they want more, Matt =)

fatbuoy1- 10-16-2007

I'll maybe get that issue and check it out for you Matt, just for you!

Matt Kempke- 10-16-2007

Thanks guys :) ... and more they'll get! Que sera sera whatever will be will be ...

fatbuoy1- 10-16-2007

Funnily enough, it was an article in this magazine (on Mark Darin's Nick Bounty, A Case Of The Crabs) a few years ago that first made me aware of the amateur adventure game community... or at least the GOOD ones. I then saw info on the Pinhead Games website about John Green's Nearly Departed, and the weird and wonderful Flash-based engine it was being made in... which led me here!

SeanCyrusTowel- 10-16-2007

hehe, that's cool, how inspiring.

fatbuoy1- 10-16-2007

Oh and it also has the game (Mac and Pc versions) on the coverdisc... Side A no less! ;) 4 below the Bioshock demo... not bad at all!

SeanCyrusTowel- 10-16-2007

even more inspiring :-D WTG Matt

Just think, somebody TOOK THE TIME to cut out those characters in Photoshop, and place the girl so she'd be sitting on the info box... if that isn't a sign you've hit the big time, I dunno what is! ;) You'll have to put together a fan pack :D
