Chris and Nige – it was lovely meeting you guys in my dream the other night. I seem to remember at least Matt, Wes, Tucker and Chris/Nige effigies present for some now-unremembered gathering; though we were outdoors on a gravel shoreline. Nige, I'm also not certain why your manifestation looked kinda like Harvey Keitel. Oh well :D Mind you, this was the same night that I dreamed my sister got pregnant and gave birth to twins (by an unknown father) over the course of the one-week since I had seen her last. Even in my dream I was questioning the biology behind that timeline. This must have been a result of the Chinese food that I'd had that evening. STRAAANGE results. :P

Which version? pimp/drug dealer in Taxi Driver or the one that disposes of dead bodies lol, but hey they say a true friend would help you dispose of a body.. never felt the need to see if the theory was right lol Actually the eyes, nose aint far off.. also going grey.. In dreams my timeline is totally screwed, i tend to be in locations from about 10 years ago, even more bizzare if its work related its always my first employer, who i had a rough 2 years with. My dreams are always based around our first house and area, but oddly the kids are the right ages, all three lived there but the youngest was only months old when we moved

Thanks for the rare insight into your subconscious. Sounds like the fellowship of developers is gathering for some yet unknown purpose. Very mysterious. I'm glad you didn't dream about those scary math triangles you've been posting. Talk about nightmares.

It generally happens when I get into the thick of a project and my brain is running rampant on program logic all day. I'll go to sleep but never get fully under; there's a sliver of alertness that grinds away on some abstract, nonsensical coding logic with no resolve -- just spinning my wheels all night. Generally I'll snap awake around 4 or 5 am and silence my brain with "THIS IS NOT A REAL PROBLEM. PUT IT AWAY". Thankfully my sleep has been pretty peaceful since the end of the two month AOL Elections modules / U23D storm at the end of last year... then you showed up in my dream Tucker. Talk about a nightmare :P

Yikes! My grandmother had three sons and has horror stories of the "good will" that radiated from their peaceful household with those three beating each other up. And to think of that extending to females... yikes. Where the guys beat each other up and are all pals again, the girls hold a grudge. :shock:

OK, this is weird.... Matt.... you must be visiting people in their dreams.... because I had a dream about you last night. I don't remember much.... but I've seen pictures of you, and it was definately you. You were staying in the US at my parents house. They were away for some reason.... that's pretty much it.... But I must say, in my dream you speak english very fluently, without a hint of an accent. I think the dream came to me because I used the name Matt in my homework just before bed.... but the odd part is, I was specifically thinking of a Matt from class, and not you at all..... how weird.

Since xmas, I've been messing around with cubic rooms, we have a game idea but i'd dearly like to do it with Lassie and Flash, i've found a couple Flash panners that just might work.... So in the dream i phone Greg for help and the dream goes into a 60's film where windows pop on the screen with me and Greg talking, shots of computers etc.., but Greg speaks in a strange techie language so i can't understand a word he says.. even casual chit chat goes off into a weird tangent :?

Save for the threads which are specifically designated to technical discussions (like the AS3 thread), I try to largely keep that chatter out of general discussion forums. Oh, and to the point of your dream Nige, I am on Skype and would be happy to VoIP with anyone about anything. Friendly chatter is preferred over techy stuff though =P I got a call the other night about Lassie from someone who tracked me down through my portfolio website contact info. After having been building this game all day at work, I was sitting down to a quiet dinner and game tech talk came haunting me. Yikes!
