Awesome! Looks good to me!

Thanks
Thanks John, Glad it looked ok. What browser were you looking at it with? I'm still getting some errors. Sometimes for me the menu loads without any buttons! Especially in Safari. Good to know other people aren't getting the same result. It might be something particular to my machine. I'll have to ask Greg about that when he gets back stateside.

Looks and works great on mine (Internet Exporer 7)

JohnGreenArt- 09-20-2007

Seems to work fine in Firefox 1.5 and Safari 2 on my PowerBook G4. I don't notice anything different between the two browsers.

Gracias
Thanks for the -*test*-('")ing, guys. I just upgraded to Flash 9 and everything works ok for me now as well. So, maybe I just had too old a plugin. Anyways, now I can feel confident launching this thing. Thanks a million. Tucker

I think I have an older Flash plugin in Safari and it worked.

Gremlins
Weird...once again I'll have to chock it up to magical Flash gremlins. I must have done something to appease them.

New Menu is Live
Hi folks, The new menu is live.. Thanks again for your help -*test*-('")ing it. I've added a new rendering I just finished of a photo-realistic Alice. Don't ask me how long it took to get those wrinkles around her eyes! Too long. Makes me appreciate the work of professional 3D artists a lot more. Tucker

After clicking on the "play something amiss" button it opens a new window, does the lassie loader thing, then shpws a black screen with her face & logo at top, ads on the right, but nothing else happens. That's in Firefox.

JohnGreenArt- 09-22-2007

Ah, it must've been my Flash wasn't current, it works now.

Uh-Oh
Uh-oh...that's the same problem I was getting. I think its a cache thing. If you go to Firefox>Preferences>Advanced>Network - clear the cache...and then refresh you should see the whole menu. I'm not sure why this happens. Any ideas?

JohnGreenArt- 09-22-2007

Maybe that was it. I thought I already had the Flash 9 plugin, but reinstalled it anyway, But of course doing that I quite my browser and cleared tha cache so maybe that's what resolved it.

New Menu
Well, hopefully the problem doesn't plague too many people. I like the new menu b/c people don't have to exit the LASSIE player to get hints and instructions (which many people had complained to me about), but if this new menu is too buggy, I may have to go back to the old one. All I added was a nestled menu movie clip into the background of the original LASSIE menu. Not sure how its loaded into the main swf file...the LASSIEAS player is a mysterious beast to me and my hacks are far from elegant.

I like the new menu, and really like the new Alice, looks really good

out of curiosity... why could they open a new tab, or window and load it there, instead of quitting out of lassie?
