Record moves.
Can you develop some feature that give us the possibility of... like recording moves of the character/s in a scene to use it later as a cut-scene. Imagine that after some event you need the character to walk to some specified point in the same room or other room. Now, we need to make an entire cut-scene in flash for this (with the complications that it is...adding everything in the same exact order than in the game), it would be simplier just to "record" moves in the room. I don`t know if i had exposed the question clearly enough... but sorry. my english socks! Huan

There are already ways of accomplishing some cutscenes like the one you mentioned. It mostly involves using the "moveCharToLoc" TIMe and keeping track of all the point coordinates you want the character to move to. In between the moveing TIMe's you can have other commands that play other animations and whatnot. You can play a cutscene like this by placing a sprite in LASSIE that's a .swf file in a room. The .swf can be blank, ie have no image in it. All you need it for is so that the .swf can have TIMe commands embedded in it. When the game goes to the room that has that sprite, it will automatically play all the TIMe commands, so it can essentially perform the cutscene. You can then have it set to turn itself off so that it will only play once, or it will play each time the character enters that room. That's what you can do with LASSIE as it is right now. I'm sure Greg is working on a more robust system for making cutscenes.
