I'm not familiar with that solution, but I'd say the easiest thing to do would be a create an automated task right within Photoshop. Have you ever used the PS "Actions" panel? It's sort of a power-user feature that I know I didn't use for years. Still have infrequent need for it, but boy is it handy for stuff like this. Basically, open up the actions panel, create a new action, then click the "record" button (the controls are kind of like a VCR). Open, process, and close one image, then stop recording actions. Review the action steps it captured. You should be able to customize the "open from" and "save to" directories. Then, run the action on a folder. It batch processes the contents of a directory in the same way you handled that one image.

Yep, but 53.2 million creative professionals can't be wrong right? (and yes, I did pull that number completely out of the air)

that actions thing sounds useful greg, id never heard of it before. Does anyone know of a more detailed tutorial on it?

I know I'm turning geek now. Even though I don't use PS that much (Fireworks is fine), my first thought was, "that's a sexy tip".

I just found a thousand-foot overview of actions at: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/digitalphotography/l/blps_batch.htm It doesn't get very in-depth, but it at least introduces the interface and explains the general use of the panel.
