is there a way to mass crop a set of PNG movie images with photoshop?
the view window in poser will only reduce so far so i have a fair bit of wasted area to get rid off
since i formatted i junked PSP because the one i had was version 7 where as the new one is now part of Corel and is aweful, version 7 had animation shop but that srewed png's up anyway
sorry if its a dumb question but i'm new to PS
I'm not familiar with that solution, but I'd say the easiest thing to do would be a create an automated task right within Photoshop.
Have you ever used the PS "Actions" panel? It's sort of a power-user feature that I know I didn't use for years. Still have infrequent need for it, but boy is it handy for stuff like this. Basically, open up the actions panel, create a new action, then click the "record" button (the controls are kind of like a VCR). Open, process, and close one image, then stop recording actions. Review the action steps it captured. You should be able to customize the "open from" and "save to" directories. Then, run the action on a folder. It batch processes the contents of a directory in the same way you handled that one image.

Yep, but 53.2 million creative professionals can't be wrong right?

I know I'm turning geek now.
Even though I don't use PS that much (Fireworks is fine), my first thought was, "that's a sexy tip".
