Did you already try WMYT? I'm curious if you like it!

Hey Matt
I just finished WMYT! Now I know why so many players didn't like the ending - but you certainly left it open for a sequel.
I really liked the game, there are so many things I could write about it but I'll keep it short :D Love your music taste (game soundtrack, Louis, and The Beatles!), love your attention to a thousand little details, you made me chuckle more than a few times - and your graphics are beautiful. May I ask how they were done?
The difficulty of the puzzles in relation to the amount of hints given was perfect! I liked Nathan's personality very much and the different expressions he's got - seeing him pocket that fish was priceless.
Have you got any plans for a sequel or a new game now?

Hey! Glad you liked the game ... yeah, the ending is unfair, I know. But WMYT doesn't end there - and there are still stories to tell. The real mystery is the WHEN :)
... but planning for a new project is already in progress.
The background graphics are photoshop-colored drawings. The animations are vectorized and flash-animated drawings ... the grea-*test*-('") moment is always when pictures, animations and sound come together and form a "room" (which since then became a magic word for me).
The old ying and yang: The "room" is a powerful thing because in the beginning it is empty. The opportunities and possibilities are endless ... but once you start building it and filling it it develops it's own personality and builds itself. In the end it's more than just the sum of the used elements ...
Darn ... I want to build a new game :)

RE: Woo! I completed it! Great Game!!

Thanks Todd!
- ...unless it was WMYT you were referring to

I don't think so ... this is not the wmyt thread :)
BTW which languages do you speak, fleur?
Did you read the little prince in the original french version?
I like that little book a lot ... i just don't like all these movies and theater plays where the prince is either played by a woman or a kid ... that's why i always got a bad impression and never read it. when i really read it lateron i was amazed what a unique little but great work it actually is. Sometimes I think that kids can like it but that you need to be grown up to appreciate it ... having lost a little faith and insight ... the magic is that it brings back those things. Anyone knows what I mean? No? Ok .... :)

I know what you mean! :D
Hm, as you may have noticed, I speak German, French English, also a bit of Spanish and next to nothing Vietnamese. Actually, French used to be my mother tongue (now substituted by Swiss-German - yuck). I had "Le Petit Prince" for a long long time in my bookshelf but I only read it once I was a teenager - don't ask me why. I cried and cried when I read the ending and I still cry today.
The book continues to amaze me. BUT, I can't really take credit for the 'Pet Peeves' game idea - that was a good friend of mine, screen name Aventura, all along. Her idea appealed to me at once and I had no problem at all converting her visions to the reality that Pet Peeves has become!
