object + animation (simplest form)
hi! i'm a noob, but have looked around the forums quite a bit. i use LassieAS how do you do objects with custom animations? i read the full documentation on the subject, but can't figure it out, and I've heard that some steps don't work in LassieAS or are not required. so, for clarity, I have a picture.fla i have the picture on the first frame on a layer. the first frame is labeled "default" on a seperate layer. and on another seperate layer i have a frame with actions: stop(); i think this is all corrent, but what now? now i added a second frame, made a movieclip out of it, stop()'d it on the first frame of this movieclip, and made a simple rotate animation-tween. i labeled it "swing" on the label layer. i am calling the animation with (when he uses the picture) playAnim('picture_sprite', 'swing', #null, #false) what am i doing wrong? thanks for response :D e: argh, it was the stop() in the mc, now it works ^^ what a great first post 8)
