Great demo!!! How can I get the train ticket from that bum? The graphics is great , good-luck in your work!

JohnGreenArt- 02-14-2006

Should we start a hint forum?

NigeC- 02-14-2006

how far have you got?

lord_noodle- 02-14-2006

I got out from the cemetery. I picked up a gum and a flyer. I got to the subway and tried to call home and search my address. What now? I need to get the paper bag? how?

NigeC- 02-14-2006

pm'd you lord noodle dunno john.. a walk thro like what pinhead use?

JohnGreenArt- 02-14-2006

I wrote out a hint guide similar to what Pinhead uses, but it's not in HTML, so the hints aren't hidden. I could maybe post a new thread that has the hints hidden. Anyone want that, or do they just want one hint at a time?

bigmac- 02-14-2006

Being the third party, allow me... if you talked to the subway attentendant, he should have told you he's eating his lunch and to give him five minutes. **HINT** give him five minutes. You'll need to use a room fixture and an inventory item to assist. The invtory item comes from the crypt in the cemetary. If you haven't gotten in there yet, focus on that!

OK got it! THX

Hi John, I love adventure games but am horrible at playing them, and I certainly love this game, but I am afraid that I will need the hint guide. The graphics are slick, artwork is great and the gameplay is fantastic. I can tell a lot of work went into this. Great sound too...really sets the mood. The intro cutscene, was that written in flash? Keep up the great work and I look forward to being a customer of Pinhead when its released. Preston

Thanks for the compliments. The cut scene was done in Flash. What part are you stuck at? Would you prefer hints one at a time or the entire walkthrough?

Hello! Great demo! Now this really shows us what can be made with Lassie. It was really inspiring to see, and it makes me want to work on my own project even more. I really like the intro, the mood and the fantastic visual style. I just love the subway! And it was wery tricky, i havent completed it yet. =) What happens when i combinate the gum and the shovel shards? What am i missing? And why does it react like it works? Am i doing something wrong? How long have you been working on this to make it this good? :D / Peter

JohnGreenArt- 02-16-2006

I'd been working on it since October, so that can tell you the full game will indeed take awhile. The gum (or more accurately what's stuck in the gum) and shovel shards don't work together directly, but they are part of the same puzzle. You need to use one of them on something first, then use the other.

Congrats, John, on the Adventure Europe interview. For those who haven't seen it, check it out at: http://www.adventure-eu.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=192&Itemid=29

Thanks!

HI John, If you would be so kind, I need a complete walkthrough, I am afraid at 60 hour workweeks I will never finish this demo before the game is released! You can send it to my web mail at pddavenp@iwon.com or via whatever means is easy for you... Regards, Preston
