Multitouch
Does anyone know anything about multitouch screens, and making flash work with them? Im thinking about my graduation display in 1.5yrs time, and i'm thinking a touch sensitive wall display would be the perfect way of melding print and digital design. Alternatively I was also looking into motion-tracking with webcams by flash. Anybody know much about this stuff? Was there anything like this at that conference you were at Greg?

well, I'm presently on my ipod touch... And the classroom I'll be in this fall is getting a smart board... But I don't know anything about flash and multitouch, just wanted to brag. But honestly, flash doesn't work on the iPod, and I think a smart board is only single touch. Multitouch is an OS specific thing... I don't thing flash supports it yet.

Yeah ive got an iphone, and am seriously impressed... I reckon its only a matter of time before touch becomes the standard interface. At the moment theres a few HP touch pc's, but theyr jus running vista, which was designed for a mouse, and so they seem clunky. The iphone is proof that when something is DESIGNED for touch, the result is beautiful and intuitive. Iv managed to find a forum on this topic, where theyr building their own multi-touch screens and using flash to make programs for it, so rooting around there at the moment :) http://nuigroup.com/ Like I said, I reckon this is the future, so Im kinda hoping to get ahead of the game :D
