LassieAS Editor alpha. Open for testing
An alpha build of the LassieAS editor is available for download. The goal of this release is for thorough -*test*-('")ing. Note that this is the editor ONLY (which is still a Director application). The Flash-native game player is built and functional, but still needs some integration with editor-generated data before it is ready for release. Stay tuned... looks good! i'll have a play with tonight :wink: edit i'm getting this: LASSIE: this gamedata is no longer authorized for editing so cannot be loaded i tryed earlier with the great escape and it seened ok, created a AS file (got an error log coz i hadn't set the start room for _char so that works fine!) i added a new blank project and got the error.. ooh just tryed adding another.. did the same but in the "game overview" the project is called "trial" and your name.. exit editor and try again an its my project details you can't add files to the library if you create a new project in v1.1... it updates it and works

Yeah, I just found these errors last night and they have been addressed. The 'authorization' alert is a carry over from the legacy system where an editor pass-key was confirmed before allowing the user to edit a project, hence securing game data between the editor and adventurer. The empty library system was an oversight, plain and simple. Once there is one item in the library, the system works fine.

i've edited some things from the great escape also from the new project and apart from the probs from the other post i haven't found any problems so far.. looking good...
