Can you play a .AVI Movie through Lassie or does it have to be converted to .SWF? Thank You Ikonz101

I got my avi converted to swf using Flash's Video Encoder. Now how would I play the movie when the action LOOK is pressed? Is this possible? Thank You Ikonz101

Sure, a really easy way to do this would be using phases. Start the object in phase-1, then have a movieClip (of the video) sitting on the frame used as phase-2. When the user looks at the object, change the object to phase-2 to show the movieClip.

Which version of Flash Player does LassieAS use is it 7 or 8? Thank You Ikonz101

Oh gosh... I can't remember what it was last published in. Probably depends on what release you're pulling. Figure 7 just to be safe.

I am using version 0.81b.r4. I believe you are right about it being Flash 7. I tried to encode a video in Flash 8 but it wouldn't show up on Lassie all you heard was the voices. Then I encoded it for Flash 7 and if worked perfectly. So I believe it is Flash 7... Ikonz101
