Jugglemeister
Did you all know that Greg could juggle? I mean REALLY juggle. I saw this guy doing some amazing behind the back, palm spinning, pin work. And then he proceeded to do it while balancing on one of those roller planks! I was blown away by his skill. To top it off he soon joined in a 4-way pin tossing session with these others pros which looked like some kind of sychronized kung-fu knife fight....truly amazing! Now I understand how he can keep track of the many details of the LASSIE project...he's quite good at keeping multiple balls in the air. Next juggling club session I'll take some photos so you all can see the master at work.

:D Good idea! Some photographs would be cool - I've seen him juggle twice on video - that was impressive, too. Hey Nige, mabe that would be something that is a good contrast to the internet stuff :) ! Maybe it's one of Gregs secrets how to stay sane although he works in front of a screen all day ...

NigeC- 04-07-2007

greg's welcome to come over and teach me lol, i have terrible hand/eye coordination and i cant catch  my release is comes in the form of 2 wheels, 0-60mph in 2 secs, 130bhp and country roads :D Don't get me wrong.. you just can't use that amount of power on public roads and expect to see tomorrow, i actually don't know how fast it goes and i'm not interested in finding out, on the whole stick to the speed limits, but the buzz and the freedom is magical find the right roads and scenery, speed becomes irrelevant i'm planning on taking off for a few hours with a pen and paper, find somewhere quiet and do some writing next week

 ::blushes::  Mind you, what Tucker fails to mention is that there were lots of people there who were substantially better than me! I'm in no way a juggling demi-god, despite Tucker's allusion to it. :D Thanks for the kind words though, Tuck.

Greg Juggling
Greg is being modest...here's the proof of his amazing juggling skills!

Matt Kempke- 06-03-2007

:D spectacular!

SeanCyrusTowel- 06-03-2007

Wow... I've seen him Juggle.... but never on a freakin' plank..... He's holding out on me. I love how the video is set to Monkey Island music :-D

bigmac- 06-03-2007

LOL!! That's great Tucker, nice job! Very well edited. Yeah Wes, the rolla-bolla (plank rolling on a pipe) was added to my arsenal about a month ago. I built the apparatus. Then last weekend I scrounged up a unicycle on Craig's List for $25.

SeanCyrusTowel- 06-03-2007

Sweet.... I assume you don't know how to ride the unicycle yet.... Is it like..... ummmmm... Mark's? (Was his name mark?)

bigmac- 06-03-2007

You refer to Mark the flamingly gay drug-elated street performer working the crowds in Key West? LOL, I haven't thought about him in a long time. He was a cool guy. But no, this unicycle is NOTHING like his. He was riding atop a ten-foot giraffe model (high seat with a chain running down to the wheel). Mine is only about 3 and a half feet tall with the peddles attached directly to the wheel. So, regardless of the fact that Mark performed each night pot-baked to a mental crisp, he is still a way better juggler than I! And as of now, I can only ride it short distances. I'm getting better though.

SeanCyrusTowel- 06-04-2007

the key isn't riding short distances..... it's staying still ;-) But I assume that is a lot harder than moving.... so I guess it's a good start :-)

bigmac- 06-04-2007

Yeah... I'm a LONG ways off from being able to idle on a unicycle. I need to be able to ride the thing comfortably with good balance first, then I can work on peddling in place. And yes, moving is MUCH easier than idling.

NigeC- 06-04-2007

My bike doubles as a unicycle :D must admit i couldn't idle it either lol, 512ibs is a bit of a lump to balance on two wheels static, but 120+bhp gets up in the air alarmingly quickly a good friend of mine can do static wheelies and front wheelies (stoppies) but he does a pro stunt show.. he did hold the world record for riding sat backwards at 153mph  http://www.davecoates.co.uk/ i have enough problems juggling our bank account lol so when do you start with chain saws?

bigmac- 06-04-2007

so when do you start with chain saws?

SeanCyrusTowel- 06-04-2007

so when do you start with chain saws?  hehehe.... you have started with Knives and Fire haven't you?
