Join the Lassie Street Team this summer!!
While I'm thinking about it... lets make some announcements on when and where anyone interested can catch up with the Lassie street team this summer and fall... Saturday, Aug 4th in Silver Spring, MD (inside the DC beltway). Come join Tucker Bowen (Adventureman), Wes (Seancyrustowel), and I (bigmac) for a swashbuckling dinner party @ Piratz Tavern in downtown Silver Spring. Pirate garb is not mandatory, but encouraged! September 10th-25th, GERMANY Team Lassie lights up the Euro-streets as Matt Kempke and I (bigmac) tour Germany. There has been discussion of Lars (Darth-vader) joining us. Our destinations are flexible, and we'd appreciate places to sleep or having travel companions!

I will definitely be down in DC next weekend... I really look forward to going to Piratz.... maybe I should dress as Guybrush

Thanks for the invite. I had a good time hanging out with my fellow LASSIE enthusiasts and their significant others. In honor of our waitor, I'm going to wear an eyepatch around all day today and talk like Depp. Tucker I must apologize for schooling everyone at billiards. I really shouldn't showboat like that, even with my impressive cue skills.

For those looking onto this thread: The Lassie Street Team, including Tucker, Wes, myself, my sister, and all respective significant others got together for a lovely dinner at Piratz Tavern (cheesy pirate bar, yes: spelled with a "z") where we were waited on by a dude with an eye patch who spoke with a really sad Johnny Depp pirate accent. Then after our scurvy burgers and scimitar fries, we moved onto a pool hall for a couple games of billiards before calling it a night. Fun time, pics to come!

Okay, okay, okay... I'm not adding any new legacy chapters right now (since there may be some more to write later this year), but I'll at least post a couple photos from Piratz Tavern in Silver Spring, MD from early August '07. The party consisted of Wes, Tucker, my sister Dina (who has played the old LEC adventure games, so is officially cool!), myself, and each of our respective girlfriends / boyfriend / finance.
