Indiana Jones IV
Just bought 5 tickets for the Indy Jones Premiere on Wednesday 21. Hooray for worldwide release on the same date :) I've been waiting for this ...! Look at the Golden Idol on top of the clock in Coppelius library in WMYT. If this doesn't make me Indy's #1 fan ;) Can't wait!

We watched the first one again over the weekend, 2nd is on this weekend :D I'm a big fan of Mr Ford.. I see Clint Eastwood is gonna do another Dirty Harry to kill the character off

Matt Kempke- 05-09-2008

Thats great! I enjoyed the first Dirty Harry Movies a lot! ... killing off characters: I very much liked the new Rambo. That was a bloodfest with a decent story and a Rambo who was again pushed to kill :)

The first DH was a big turning point in films in my opinion, it seemed to drag films away from squeaky clean to harsh reality of life saying that it didn't do Andy Robinson (Scorpio Killer ) much good.. he struggled for a long time to get movie parts after film because he came across to real and scary!

He was the guy who randomly snipered people, right? he was really bad! Btw, did you by chance see "Jekyll" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497298/? I just did and it was really good. That guy who wrote it also wrote the best new dr who episodes. James Nebitt was surprisingly "two sided" :) really good

NigeC- 05-09-2008

yeah that was the guy.. the only thing i can remember seeing him in after that was HellRaiser but he did a load of tv work No i never saw Jekyll, i wish i had, no doubt it'll be repeated .. hopefully :D

I'm PSYCHED for Indy 4. I think I'll be going home right around there, so I'll probably wait and go see it with Wes and our friend Eric.

Indy 4
I'm currently in LA and it's amazing to see the promotion for this film. Billboards the size of buildings with 'Indiana Jones' blazed across the side in that iconic gold. The title makes me a bit suspect, but I'll keep an open mind till I see it.

Good to see you here, Tucker :)

The title makes me a bit suspect, but I'll keep an open mind till I see it. What, do you think that "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" sounds a little cheezy of something?

Matt Kempke- 05-09-2008

true. But Crystal Skulls have a long and mysterious history :)

Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls
Well, its the rumored inclusion of sci-fi elements that has me a little worried. I liked the early films cause they mixed real archaeology with a fictional storyline. The plot was grounded in some credible research and reality. But if Indiana has a heartfelt moment with ET or JarJar, I'm going to be a tad disappointed. However, I shouldn't prejudge it.

bigmac- 05-09-2008

true. But Crystal Skulls have a long and mysterious history :) The mystery being why they always look like they're made out of molded plastic, right?

Matt Kempke- 05-09-2008

yeah, but fact is they aren't - now that's mysterious! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_skull well, at least if they are hoaxes some of them have been made over 120 years ago ... at least it's an antique hoax. :) Now doesn't that make a hoax real - no - but entertaining ;)

James Nebitt was surprisingly "two sided" really good Have I mentioned yet that I went to the same school as James Nesbitt? That makes me cool by association, right? :D
