Heck yes, I think this was a big win for America. In a weird way, this is probably the single biggest event to take place in our country since 9/11, and I'm really pleased and proud that it stems from racial and cultural equality rather than sensational death and destruction. While I can't say that the entire country stands united by this event (I've already seen "Impeach Obama" bumper stickers on the road -- two months before he's been inaugurated), I think that it's at least a big step forward in both our domestic and foreign policy.
