Big Flash conference in San-Fran. Draws some heavy-weight industry professionals. For those interested, they just sent out an update today: "Early Bird Registration Date Error Correction - Register before July 6th to Receive Discount" LOL, I love how they attribute this to a "date error correction"... Come on, they didn't catch the error until THE DAY BEFORE early registration ends?!? Sounds way more like they didn't get the registration volume that they wanted so are extending the $100 dollar registration discount for another week. So, any interested Flash gurus have until this Sunday to cash in on the reduced conference rate. The conference is $900 now, and will be $1K on Sunday. Yes, those are extortionist rates... but if you're going by a corporate expense account then it's at least slightly more bearable. If anyone plans to go, let me know; I'm there.
