Exit Hi, i was playing the nearly aparted demo and noticed that the game quits instantly if i press "esc". Isnt it possible to make it so that pressing "esc" takes the player to the game menu like when you just close the window?

It is possible...
But only Greg can do it by changing the Esc Lock property in the publish settings within Director.
You should ask Greg about it.

Hmm. I just noticed this post. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I believe that is a built-in function of Director...it automatically reserves the ESC key during shockwave playback as an application exit. As I recall, you cannot even listen for an ESC press to override the preset. Not much I can do about it. Sorry :(

Wrong there ... :wink:
In the publish settings you can see a check box named "exit lock" !
File>Publish Settings>(select "projector")>exit lock - if checked, the Esc key wont do a thing! :arrow:
