If I had known it was going to this easy to "win" I wouldn't have bothered with more than one set lol.
But seriously, I am sorry there weren't any other entries.
I guess this means slim pickings for the forum members
A t-shirt you say? Nige and I kind of had our hearts set on a lovely mug :D , either that or the newest version of Flash for Nige <grin>, otherwise I'm worried he'll be selling one of his kidneys on the black organ market lol.
Are you sure you don't want to give the con-*test*-('") another month though?
PinkFrangipani- 02-29-2008
Congrats CJ! :D
Sorry folks, I just didn't make it - there's sure a lot more going on than you think - even when you're off for a whole month!

Thanks Fleur :)
Perhaps if we nag Greg enough he'll extend the competition with another month
I understand there are others who would have liked to enter but needed more time.
So Greg, if you're around here somewhere mate, would you consider it?
Pretty please with cherries on top? :D
NigeC- 02-29-2008
Yeah give it another month, I'm sure other folks would of joined in, time is a killer
I have no more kidneys to sell :( i used the spare one to buy the brake discs (rotors in the US) for my bike
I guess i could go to limbs lol

okay... one more month granted. I'm in no hurry here in data land.
PinkFrangipani- 03-01-2008
Yaay! Thanks!
This time I'll definitely stop procrastinating...hehe.
Are you at least having fun in that strange country, Greg?
bigmac- 03-02-2008
...Yikes. That sounds like a statement to our political landscape if I've ever heard one! Don't worry, no offense is taken: I'll be the first to admit that America has not been at it's best for most of the past decade. What's stranger is to think that I currently live within about 5 miles (8km) of George W. Idiot's desk in the oval office. And let me tell ya, Washington D.C. is a STRANGE place to be living during an election year. There are lots of extremists about with lots of extreme opinions... Oh, and I'm getting a little tired of building interactive Flash maps to depict election results. That's about all anyone wants these days!
I'm really looking forward to getting the next year over with and (with a little luck) rejoice to get a Democrat back in office. Event if we get the republican McCain, I still think we'll get some well-needed morality back in power here. I still wish we'd gotten Gore eight years ago. I think the entire world would have been made a better place because of him and his key issues, which I thought were truly the most important ones (like the planet's wellbeing, for example).

Well, we would have gotten Gore in office, if it wasn't for Florida... Where it just so happens G. Dub-ya's brother was in office. M'eh enough political talk.

I think she ment:
I'm in no hurry here in data land

BUT as far as politics go.. we're safe from constant barrage of election bullsh*t living up north.. it doesn't seem to matter who gets in, they do ok for a while then they mess up the country even more
I guess Tony Blair's big mistake was going back to the Gulf.. were piss pot small country with an over inflated ego and its Joe Public who pays for the bullets and bombs :?
As that Who song goes...
"Meet the new Boss...
Same as the old Boss!!"
