Computer Guy!
Ok, after thoughts and thoughts i've decided to make a game! The character, Billy, gets sucked into a computer! This game might not get finished but hopefully will! Greg, would you mind setting me up a mini site on your site so I can post the storyline etc. Thanks, Waugh PS: Heres a little screenie of a room BG!

good luck with it, and most important have fun doing it!

Todd, Lets see some progress before announcing it as a title. I try not to amass derilect projects on the Lassie website. As the project progresses and we're sure it's happening, then we'll consider publicity. In the meantime, keep us poster here on the forums.

yeah, thought you'd say that i was just posting it before i forgot, thanks for the comment Nige

i think i've had 3 game ideas than never came off in Lassie  the reason was lack of story, or just not enough experience to actually pull them off think small and you can't go wrong, you will do something, but most people want to make a huge game then rarely get past the first room my downfall is i rush, its a really bad habit and it didn't do my 2DA game much good when a big bug cropped up

AArgg! Trapped in Windows - my own personal nightmare.

Trapped in Windows - my own personal nightmare. You a Mac user then, Polar?

Matt Kempke- 04-11-2007

... the long painful hitsory of using windows makes it a horror for me, too. You can't press the restart button on the PC if you are trapped inside ... how should that PC work then ?? :)

ToddW- 04-12-2007

Ahh, its all about his webcam.. the webcam sucked him in, and it should do vice versa but he realises his pc has a virus OH NOES!!!

The Polar One- 04-12-2007

You a Mac user then, Polar? Went straight from an Amiga to a Mac, albeit with a 7 year computerless gap inbetween. OH NOES!!! LOL

bigmac- 04-12-2007

Went straight from an Amiga to a Mac, albeit with a 7 year computerless gap inbetween. Good man. I started on PC, then switched over to Mac when I got into Multimedia and transferred over to RIT (my college). I've been enjoying the system ever since, and have never missed the frequent headaches and bi-yearly hard drive reformats that I used to go through. While my G4 is getting a little dated, I'm leery to give it up just because it is so unbelievably reliable. Sadly, I can't quite say that about my new computer at work: an Intel iMac. While the screen is *beautiful* (and it gets the job done), it gets moody a bit more often than I'd like. Not a bad machine mind you, but still not rock-solid stable like my trusty old graphite G4.

The Polar One- 04-12-2007

Good man. snip Yeah - I got one of the later G4s specifically to get into multimedia (and it's taking me long enough). I've given it a fair bit of abuse but can't beat it for performance and reliabilty. Good thing too, as I can't afford a new one at the mo. And before I totally hijack this thread - Hey Todd, here's some inspiration for ya. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHO8l-Bd1O4

ahhh ZuneZaber?? Well i'll show you how Windows came up with "Zune" abcdefghigjklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcd 4-----------3 2-----1 Z and U are one pair of letters, where N and E are the other If we move Z and U two spaces apart and N and E one space apart...: abcdefghigjklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcd 4-------------3 2----------1 1 = B 2 = S 3 = O 4 = D Known to microsoft users as the blue screen of death!!!!!

fatbuoy1- 04-13-2007
