Is there any way to change resolution in LASSIE? Normally, I will change resolution to 800 x 600 so I have a full screen game. So the user won't see anything except the games. There is a useful xtra (which is free) in director to change resolution. Usually, I use ADisplay Xtra to do this. Can I use it together with LASSIE? thank u.

There already is a 800 x 600 screen resolution SWF you can run. And you can also run games in fullscreen mode. But I don't know if you can automatically start games this mode. But for fullscreen view 1024 x 768 would be nicer. Is there any way to archive this with LassieAS?

Changing Game Size
Its not too hard to change the resolution of the game in LASSIEAS. Go to the "Config" tab. Then click on "Settings" In the box that says editor size you can change the resolution. I've only tried 640 x 480 and 800 x 600. I don't think there are swf game files for anything larger then this, but since Flash plugins are scalable, you can just set the size you want in dreamweaver or whatever (can someone confirm this?) Remember if you offer your LASSIEAS game as downloadable and playable with a standalone Flash player you can easily make it full screen (say 1024 x 768). Most bitmap graphics look decent full screen when plugged in at 800 x 600. And if your game is all in vector graphics, scaling is not a problem. Hope that helps.

And if someone needs a custom sized player app, I can always compile a different sized player (if you ask really nicely, of course).

Yes, I did set the game size to 1024 * 768. But when opening it with lassieas_v081b4_800.swf it won't change resolution when entering fullscreen. (Which is actually very good) Bigmac, could you please compile a 1024 * 768 template. That would be great. I have some backgrounds in that size and I'd love to play around with them. :oops:

A 1024x768 resolution would be great... Id guess its the most common resolution nowadays, and I definately dont think theres many peoples still on 640x480

Well, I still use Lassie Director instead of LassieAS. Maybe, I have to migrate to LASSIEAS then. hmm..thank u bigmac and all for the answers.
