Aspect ratios and resolutions in Lassie?
Basically I'm wondering if my friend and I could make our game in Lassie and have it be a high resolution, like 1280x720 if we wanted, which would also be 16:9 aspect ratio. Possible?

Sure, no size restrictions exist on the Legacy LASSIE version (Director player app). As for LassieAS (Flash version) the interface for setting screen resolutions is not accessible in the currently available alpha, but it will appear again in future releases. Keep in mind though that the larger your screen is, the more redrawing will be required, so the slower your game will run across systems. A size like 1280x720 will substantially increase the system requirements of your game to have it run at a decent frame rate.

I would recommend if you're going to do a game at that high a resolution, you don't do scrolling screens. Scrolling screens creates a considerable amount of slow down.
