Anyone using Lassie AS 0.7?
Is there anyone out there doing something in AS 0.7? If so, it would be really useful to hear if you are experiencing the same issues as i do... Or is it just me?

Well, I guess I am. In my –uh– "freetime" I'm building an AS version of John's Nearly Departed and ironing out engine bugs in the process (which you knew). Of course, I think I've had a whopping total of two hours to work on it in the past month so I haven't gotten much done... Happy news though, I did find and fix some bugs in the small amout of development I put in. Of course, you have the absolute newest version of Lassie, Peter, the one with those new TIMes in it. BTW: Did you get default character dialogue switching over with setGameAttribute? I'm still considering your NPC mirroring problem.

Yes, I did fix the default character dialogue switching. =) Sounds good that you are considering the NPC mirroring. Because I think it is the biggest problem at the moment.

Hm, I switched to LASSIE AS 0.7a and now my action icons on the disc wont work anymore. I renamed them after the instructions though (action_0, action_1, action_2). Any ideas what I might have messed up? EDIT: After renaming the icons back to center, left, right they where clickable again, but now I have another issue: the fact, that not a single DIA is played now... ??? At least the NPC isn't getting squeezed anymore... Here's my _disc.fla: http://forseth.de/BSLS/library/_system/_disc.fla The Game can be seen on: http://bsls.forseth.de thanks and greets, Darth.

Hmmm. That verb disc is clearly set up for v0.65 and before. The center, left, and right instance names should not work in version 0.7a. Also, I notice that you still have some of the derilect room scrolling issues (hotspots not being placed correctly, character starting offscreen) that were fixed in version 0.7a. One of two scenarios is at work here: either you are not actually using the v0.7a player, or else I never actually compiled a 640x480 SWF with the v0.7 code... quite possible with the mass amounts over versioning I am trying to keep track of. Not sure what would cause the dialogue to stop working... I've never had anyone report that problem before. I would suspect that something else is at work there.
