Any plans for Flash export?
:?: Is there any future plans to make it possible to export the game as a flash file? Is it theoretically possible to do so or will it be in a future release? I'm still going to use Lassie probably (who wouldn't) but I'm just considering distribution for my game. Funny you should ask this. On the record: It is an absolute imposibility for Director to compile Flash SWF media becasue they are entirely different system architectures. No can do. Not gonna happen. The only way that LASSIE projects could ever be playable as Flash SWFs would be if a completely new player application were engineered using Flash Action Script that could parse LASSIE data. Off the record: I may be building one

:?: would a project created with the current director based Lassie be compatible with the newer one? Definately. It will take some extra effort to define new information added into the Flash version, but general game data will adapt straight into the new system (AS will still use the Director editor, just run with a flash player).
