Advice on Illustrator...
Hi! I'm not sure this is the right forum but I have a problem with Iluustrator CS2. I worked with the 30 day trial and now when that period ended I got a valid serial number. Where should I put the serial? I dont see any place to put it in the "30 days over" screen. And a wierd thing: I tried to reinstall it-maybe than I will have a place to put the serial in the installation but, the uninstall keep crushing when I click "remove"! - I cant remove the softwere, what should I do? Could I install Illustrator Trial again and overwrite the privious install of the softwere? It wont create just another copy of the softwere on my computer? THX!

i think its an online registration thing, i got another adobe product and you can only activate them online now, stops the hackers making keygens reinstalling doesn't do any good.. it creates a file in system somewhere that it reads as it boots the software. nor does clearing the system reg buy, beg, borrow or steal im afraid

But I have a serial, I just need to put it in the softwere... I dont know what to do.. HELP ME!!!!! :cry:

you don't have that option anymore m8.. you would need a valid email address which was used to get the serial number if it bought with the software you could try disconnecting from the net totally and install it again, it may give you the option to use the serial then i had the same problem with the acrobat trial, a friend had a serial no, but i don't like it much so i didn't really try

so reinstalling Illustrator will not help me?

This is probably a stupid question... but have you tried contacting Adobe about it?
