I'd encourage it! However, the only "Team Lassie" that I'll be on during the coming months is the Lassie Street Team. My development on game-related projects is grinding to a haul with the coming of summer ...that and when I have a free evening it always seems to get filled in with stupid stuff. Case of point: tonight was cleaning up after some jerks who shot my car window out with a pellet gun. ARG. I love living in the city. Oh, incidentally: Lassie Street Team summer destinations will be announced pretty soon. We'll definitely be out and about again this year.

That really sucks Greg. Did you call the cops? Or is that a waisted effort in DC?

LOL... yes, I did call the cops so that I could get a police report on record. A unit came and took my statement, then acknowledged that this was one of many related incidents in the neighborhood that wrapped around my block. So, sounds like some sickos were out joy-riding in an SUV and shooting out windows as they went. So then I took my car into the glass shop just outside of the neighborhood this morning, and the glass place noted that they've also been hit with an abnormal volume of calls coming in today.

last October 7 cars in our street had all the screens put out in one go.. 4 kids just went down a line of cars at 2am.. luckily the wife was on 6 till 6 shift and had our car.. it would of been the first in the line otherwise :roll: Like you i guess the best you can do is get a crime number for such things, the police can't do a lot About two weeks ago, the guy over the street had a Ford Transit van torched by his ex girlfriend, she goes on a rampage every now and again but this was the scariest thing she's done so for :? anyway back to topic... I was gonna do something, but theres too much going on right now and my brain isn't really working.. if anyone wanted to come up with the media etc, i'd be up for doing the Lassie side of things

I can't come up with escape-the-room ideas ... How about we make our own competition ... something more philosophical. A game where you have to find out the sense of life. Could be comedy-like or deep or mathematical :)

Well, community con-*test*-('")s and collaborative efforts around here have a long history of not getting much attention. Most any time I've set something collaborative up, we've gotten little to no response – which I can understand given that it's substantially easier to talk than to "do". So, if anyone has ideas, I'll certainly formalize them in the way of community publicity.

Wish I could help guys, I would love to be a part of some kind of community effort, but I doubt I can bring anything worthwhile to the table. I CAN however, get a great voice actor should you want one.

Hmmm.... I've done a bit of voice acting in my time.... and if someone was ever going to repraise that role, I sure hope I get to do it ;-) To back up a second though.... Greg, you mentioned the LASSIE Street Team. Is there a chance it might come to MY hometown? ;-)

or do I have to wait until the official announcement?
